As someone with a coupon dysfunction, I need your help.
Snipping miniature rectangles from store circulars terrifies me — too many airborne scrappy escapees.
I can’t handle a paper infestation.
Not after the dust bunny breach. It still gives me nightmares.
I won’t let my home become a safe-house for errant clippings.
There must be a way to organize colorful loose-clipped snippets without overrunning a house.
It’s all too much information for my clueless ADD brain.
Please help me overcome my dysfunction, so that I can save money and not lose my mind.
Thank you.

I can’t say I am the most organized or informed couponer around. Go to smartcanucks.ca and start from there. It has lots of 101 couponing info ! I always try to find coupons online before buying an item. If I can’t find any then fine but at least, I have tried ! :) By doing a google search of “item of desire + coupon” , you can save a lot of money ! As for the cutting and stacking of paper…it grows on you. It is all worth it in the end when you see how much you have saved ! Good luck and tell me how you did !
Thank you. Will give it a whirl and let you know. Baby steps toward curing me of my coupon dysfunction.
Yeah, keep us posted. I need to learn a few tricks, too.
Oh, wait. Not THOSE kind of tricks. :)
This is a G-Rated Blog. Actually, PG. I’ll fill you in on my coupon escapades. I’m going to the supermarket today and will test drive the coupons.
Sorry, Lauren. I have too much coupon trauma stemming from my childhood. I can be of no help.
I figured that other ADDers and neurotics would not be helpful in this matter. It messes with our brains. Today, I will attempt to use coupons on my much anticipated trip to the supermarket. I so love being assaulted by harsh lights and sounds.
We know where I stand on couponing…..now I can’t wait to hear about your foray to the grocery store!
I documented my trip to the grocery store and will post tomorrow. It’s a doozy.
I want to get enlightened about the coupon. I do not want to be stuck on the fake coupons. Keep working
