We’re getting a hurricane Sunday. Stocking up on candles and batteries. I should also get milk. But I’ll need brass knuckles for my trip to the Stop & Shop. Have a great weekend!
Of all the ways to commit suicide, I never would have thought of intentionally triggering an anaphalactic reaction. Good microfiction that leaves me thinking and wondering.
Thanks Karen. I’m glad that it left you thinking and wondering. I think I’m going to try writing more of these Twitter stories. They’re a great writing exercise.
Holy crap! That is fantastic and sad all at the same time! Wow!
Hey thanks!! What a difficult assignment. I love a writing challenge like this one.
Thank you. It wasn’t easy. This was an incredible lesson in whittling down words.

Very well done and it’s so modern indeed. Not messy either and I like that.
Have a terrific day and weekend. 🙂
Thanks Sandee. I don’t like messes either.

Dang! This was great. Really great. Poor Ann…and that pitiful, salty goodbye.
Love your style, the name of your blog, everything. I was visiting from WOE, but I think I’ll follow and stay awhile 🙂
Wow! Thanks!!!! So glad you’re sticking around. I’m sorry I forgot the coffee and danish.
My son has deadly peanut allergy so it’s tough for me to comment on this, because it would be an absolutely horrific way to die.
I am so sorry!!
I cannot believe you got all of that into 140 characters! Fantastic work!
I can’t believe it either. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much. I broke a sweat over this one. What an invaluable lesson in making every word.
OH! Sad! Well done for a few characters!
(visiting by way of Writing on Edge)
Thanks so much. I broke a sweat getting it all into 140 characters.
Thanks Barbara. This was a tough one.

LOL, I love that she tweeted a sad goodbye. It’s the only way to do a suicide, tweet it! 🙂
Scary, too. The modern techno way to sign off the planet.
It’s kind of scary, too. Another modern technological marvel. Death by 140 characters.

Love the complete story!
And the matter-of-fact shock factor doesn’t hurt either!
Thanks Galit!! I didn’t feel the quake yesterday but felt the shock waves today.
The Disqus demons are at it again. I can’t respond to comments via email anymore.

A combination homicide/suicide. Great teamwork on both their parts!
Homicide/suicide utilizes the same team-building skills as sadomasochism.

powerful in a short space, good job!
Thanks so much. Writing 140 characters sounds easy but was really difficult.
